About Rock Creek Power-Vac

Our Story 

In 1986, two friends (Bob and Ken) went into business together cleaning chimneys and furnace and air duct systems. They even cleaned boilers (the really old ones that used coal!). 

After the first year, it was difficult for this to support two young, growing families, so Bob decided to sell his portion of the business to Ken with one exception — that when Ken was ready to retire, he had to offer the business back to Bob. 

Eighteen years later, Ken was ready to retire, and upholding his agreement, offered the business back to Bob. 

Bob was well into his car sales career and did not have an interest. HOWEVER, Bob had a son who just recently got married and had a baby boy on the way. After some hurdles, Jeff and Candi were able to acquire Rock Creek Power Vac and have been the owners/operators now since 2004.
